Friends are priceless. 400 miles (roundtrip) later, I would re-do this weekend again if I could. Even though these past 5 years we’ve all been so far from each other, I love that as every one is about to transition into a new stage/chapter of our lives, we’re still getting together and enjoying each other’s company.
Lately, there have been many car-related happenings within our own fellowship. Rear-ends, side-cutting, and tires exploding. It seems to happen on Fridays, right before our fellowship meets together for Bible Studies and Small Groups. We have concluded that Satan just doesn’t like to see our fellowship grow so fast and so strongly. He’s trying to discourage us from fellowship by putting these obstacles and hardships in front of us. But praise to our Sovereign Lord, everyone has stayed safe and unharmed through these trials. Praise to our God who has taught us what love for each other means. Seeing our fellowship continue to encourage and pray for each other is a testimony of how God has worked in us these past years. We’ve grown larger but also closer as a group and we have seen the power of prayer. Anyway, I started thinking about this when I almost fell asleep on the road today. Sleepy afternoons don’t mix with driving.
Test tomorrow… Studied about an hour. After an hour, I couldn’t focus anymore so I’ve just been chatting and chatting and chatting. May 23rd, come sooner yes? Then, June, July, and August, please go by super slow.
